How does it work?

We design, source and manufacture the finest grade socks, accessories and gear for cyclists. We are based in the United States and we do as much of it as possible right here. For Bespoke, we use crowdfunding as our business model. This gives our customers the chance to own limited edition products made with the highest grade materials and construction. Our products are made in very small production runs. Doing it this way makes it possible to offer what we make at a competitive price to the end user, but leaves no room for the traditional wholesale-to-retail price structure. That’s why Bespoke products won’t be available anywhere else besides have been manufacturing at our North Carolina factory for over 25 years. We are excited to be able to offer items on Bespoke that can be sold prior to production.

What is a campaign?

We call each product a “campaign,” since customers will be the ones who determine if it will be produced. Once a campaign reaches its end date, the campaign will close and we will begin production. This helps us keep prices low by only constructing the styles and sizes that our customers order.  The Bespoke model also allows us to produce small batches of very unique items. We understand that what may be amazing to one customer could easily be passed up by another. Bottom line is if enough people back something, we’ll make it. The trade-off with this model is that you will need to wait for your order to be made. Production time is around 6 weeks for most campaigns, but we think the wait is well worth it. Can I change my size/address?

You can change your order details up until the point we start production. When a successful campaign closes, you will receive an email with a receipt for your order. Please contact us at or 800-688-3067 within 24-48 hours of receiving this email if any changes need to be made.

When do I pay?

When you hit the “Back it” button, your credit card or payment form is validated. You are charged only when the item reaches its funding goal at the end of a campaign. If a campaign does not reach its goal by the deadline date, the campaign is canceled and you will not be charged.

When will my items be shipped?

Anticipated shipping date ranges are listed on each items product page. Items will typically ship 4-6 weeks after a campaign closes, but some may ship sooner.

How do I know my size?

Size charts can be found on each campaign page.

Failed charges

If a successful campaign closes and your payment method does not process, we will contact you via email regarding what needs to happen next.

Why can I only fund one item at a time?

The easiest way we can answer this is that the rules of crowdfunding and payment processing require us to treat each item as a separate transaction. This means if you want to buy two pairs of socks (and the campaign is for individual pairs), you will need to fund the item twice.

Why do some campaigns close early?

In some instances fabrics we offer are in limited supply, so the campaign will close as soon as it hits 100%. This can be as fast as 1 hour or it could take the full funding period. For this reason, if you are really interested in something, we suggest you back it to ensure you can get your order in.

Can I exchange or return an item after I receive it?

Bespoke does not carry inventory. This helps keep our prices in check but can make exchanging an item harder. We’ll do our best to facilitate swapping out unworn, unwashed and unaltered items for a similar style or store credit. If you have any questions, please email us at

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! You will notice on each product page there is a button for domestic orders in each size, as well as international orders in each size. The difference in price accounts for the increased shipping costs for international orders. Please be sure to check that you are selecting the correct option for your delivery address. If you select the domestic option but have an international shipping address, our system will flag it when payments are processed and we will contact you for the additional cost. Do you have any items in stock that I can buy now?

We do not. We keep very limited inventory in our shop for returns and we don’t offer these for sale.

Can you ship me sample products so I can figure out my size?

No, our business model means we keep very limited inventory on hand.

Do you offer custom sizing?

No, we only offer the sizes listed on our sizing charts.
